Blogs will be posted for all talking papers. Other blog assignments will include responses to articles, images, and audio.
Blogs need to be posted by midnight before the next class!
Each student is required to not only post his/her blog, but also comment on three other blogs posted by classmates.
You will be graded on thoughtfulness and completion.
I liked how this video was more of a debate then just one person giving a speech. It really gave a great perspective to both sides of an argument and it opens your mind to both possibilities.
I agree with Natasha, on how it's a debate and not one person. Also, in the video, I disagree with the man from the MADD organization. where he says that lowering the drinking age has to do with drunk driving. Personally, I don't think it does for the simple fact that teenagers do it illegally anyway, and that people over the age limit do drunk driving. A lot of this is that teenagers need to learn some responsibility with themselves.
I think there are great sides two both of these. Could lowering the drinking age help with drunk driving i dont think so. People are still going to drink no matter what
