Creating Equality
What I would do to make everyone equal is what we are doing now. Having everyone being aloud to vote, go to the same schools, have opinions, etc. Everyone has that right, but it is impossible to make everyone exactly equal if a person has different talents than others. In the short story it made people have masks, and headphones, and weights to make them equal to others. But that wasn't equal either if people had to have more things and others didn't have to have any thing. So what I would do, would just have everyone have equal rights in this world, instead of trying to make everyone the same person.

I think giving people the same rights is a lot better than making everyone equal. It makes a lot more people happier also. Some people might be smarter than others or some people might be taller than others which makes us different but we can't help that. Making a society equal doesnt really work.
ReplyDeleteI possibly might agree with you. It might be better to just simply create equal rights instead of making everyone the same person. You made a good thought, something I might have not thought of.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you guys, because your lives of equality will never work out never in billion years. But the lesson the story was telling was that we don't need equal weights to make us equal, we need equal right for everyone.

ReplyDeleteExactly, That would make it fare to give everyone the same rights. To treat each other kindly and respect each other. Then that would be the right thing to do.
