AQWF Ch.1-3

In chapters 1-3, they introduce all the main characters, with Paul as the narrator. They've just gotten back from the Front, and are tired and hungry. They later learn that one of their friends had to have his foot amputated, and he later died. Later, the cook accidentally made food for 150 soldiers, but there are only 70-80 left, so they all get double rations. New, even younger recruits than the 19 year old battle-tested soldiers join the company, and Paul befriends one of the newbies, Kat.
