chapter 7-9 blog

One thing that really stood out to me on these chapters was the scene with Paul and the dying french soldier. IN this scene i really feel as though Paul has come to understand the true value of a human life. before he was just killing soldiers from a distance. this was the first time that hes has really killed someone with his own hands. I feel like this experience and knowledge is a good thing but also a bad thing because it will always be with him.
