The Price Of War

494072347_f6b29cd3ec_b.jpg

I chose this picture because this to me is one of the most important places in the world. This is Arlington national cemetery in Arlington, West Virginia. This shows how many thousands upon thousands of people lost their lives defending this beautiful country. When we think of war we know that there is going to be death but never did I expect this many people gone from the world because of war. Just think about how many children don't have a father now, or how many brothers lost their brother. All the wives who are now widowed because of war. It is important we remember these people who gave their lives for this great nation and God bless them all and all their families.

Poem

I look around and all I see is stone

And it sets a very solemn tone

so many gone and fled

and it makes me dread

war is to blame

and we must remember their names
