I think that marijuana should be legalized but for medical purposes only. i don't think people should just be able to walk around smoking marijuana like cigarettes because it is a drug and it does hurt you in the long run even though people don't think it does. I also don't think it should be legalized because marijuana is a gateway drug and once a lot of people get tired of the high that marijuana gives them, they might start moving on to harder drugs and then once people start moving on to the harder drugs they will try and get what ever drug that might be legalized because they'll think if marijuana got legalized why not this?
The only good thing that legalizing marijuana would do is help our economy because the government would tax it.
I agree 100% with you. It should be legalized but with restrictions on how and how much you use. People think that smoking weed isn't bad for you, but its one of those silent killers. And it might not effect you know it will effect you a great amount later in life. I think any type of drug or alcohol should have restrictions on how much you use of it.
