In real life, I would not want COMPLETE equality between everyone, because I personally belief the only way to achieve that is to be ignorant to any kind of emotion, and what kind of world would we be without that?
I would go about this by making sure all the same rights are given to everyone, paying no mind to any kind of discrimination. I would make it so everyone had the right to good achievements, and oppurtunities. Like we have now, I would also have healthcare for everyone, and anyone. There would have to be no single person given any kind of "more fortunate"-ness. Everyone would have the same chances to live life. Thats what I would do.
I totally agree with you. Why would we want to make people the same. So one person is smarter than their neighbor. But then maybe the neighbor is better at something than they are. It's just the way life is. No one is the best at everything. People have different goals, different achievements and different backgrounds. Because of our diversity that makes America so different from any other country on earth.

ReplyDeleteI agree with your ideas here. Making sure everyone has the same rights is making more people equal but then they have that choice to either take the rights or leave them . I think when it comes to this type of topic that you have to make a choice. Not just to make a choice of making everyone eqaul but whether or not people would accept the choices.
