Creating an equal society

I think that "equalizing" society would be a very very bad idea, like we read in that short story. However if I had to create an equal society I would make it so that every one had the same chances in their life, if they chose not to take them though, then it would be their choice to "unequalize" themselves. I would not try to lower everyones intelligence so that everyone was the same in that aspect, but I would make an education available to everyone. I would also give every one the same laws to live by. That is what I would do to create an equal society.

    I agree with everything you say here. you can try to make people equal but they would have that choice to unequalize themselves. Even if everyone jsut has the same education that is making people equal but without taking the uniqueness from everyone.

    yes making a society equal would be a bad idea but everyone should be able to have the same chances and choices in life like you said.

    I agree that people should have the same type of chances in thier life. And having the same laws would make thing equall for people.
