Equality
I dont think that you can make a society equal because everyone is different. In harrison and bergeron people are given handi caps to make things equal but the handicaps make things less equal. Some people have a lot of handicaps and some have none at all which is not equal or fair. Equal means of the same value and fair means that there are the same rules for everyone. So to make a society "equal" then you must have the same rules and rights for everyone.

I agree with you, because the short story they weren't equal it was more unfair then having everyone have equal rights. Equal rights is how to make a equal society like you said.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, in the story, when everyone was made equal, it just made things worse than it was before. I like when you say that "to make a society 'equal' we must have the same rules and rights for everyone."
ReplyDeleteYa to me the story wasnt equal at all because the stronger people had more handicaps than the weaker people which defeats the purpose of trying to equalize things.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you because your right it was harder for some people that had more handi caps than others. So thats not fair to the people that had more because there life was harder
