Beneatha Blog
All my college medical money! No! they are all gone. All because Walter my one and only brother became selfish and invested all that insurance money to the unprofitable liquor store. The money was our father's life. How could he waste all of it. I knew something like this would happen, because my mom trusted Walter giving the rest to his care. How could my mother trust him like that. I wanted to be an doctor and save people especially my family fianancially. How can something like this happen. In addition, there was a visit from Mr. Linda. I am not so sure about living in a place with white people. I am so sad, i don' t know what to do. I hope my mom's God stays with our family.

I really how you talked like you were actually Beneatha and how she would have felt in the actual situation ,especially losing all that money.
ReplyDeleteIf I were Beneatha, I would feel the same way that you expressed in your journal entry. I like how you mention that you doubt mama because she trusted the money to Walter, it is an intresting detail that you added to your blog.
