Beneatha Blog

I cant believe this. Im literally in shock. How could Walter do such a thing! How could he spend MY money that momma gave ME. ME! not him! He knew that i needed that money to go to college to become a doctor but no what does he do. He goes and spends it on that dumb liquor store of his! That business is going to go nowhere! I could have became a successful doctor and got a good career for myself and helped support our family but no he has to be selfish as always and go do what he wants. He never thinks of anyone but himself. This is truly unbelievable. I dont think there is a word for my hatred towards him right now.

    I like what you said, and how you really expressed how she would be feeling. you put a lot of emotion in what she would be saying which I liked.
