Beneathas thoughts:
When the money actually came, the thought of me finally becoming a doctor was almost right in front of me. My brother has done a lot of bad things and sais stuff id never thought id be able to forgive but this was the ultimate low. He took the money. He gave it to Willy and took the money and ran. Oh im sorry Walter, he wasnt nice guy and wasnt truthful. That money was supposed to go to my education. I finally felt like i could help support my family, but Walter cared more about his stupid alcohol bust. I cant believe my own brother would even forget i was his sister. He musta' , because siblings would never do something like that. Never
I love your "accent" it really sounds like Beneatha is talking. Also I totally agree with your opinions of Walter and the choice he made, this really was the worst thing he has done so far in the book.
ReplyDeleteThroughout the play Walter had done and said some really bad things but to have given the money away like that after Mama trusted him. And he didn't think about the rest of the family only about how he can get his license.
ReplyDeleteYour last sentence was very concrete and strong. I agree this is the worst thing he has done from the book. Just to waste all the money on a stupid investment was the stupidest idea ever. Now beneatha can't become a doctor.
ReplyDeletei like your accent! hah i also agree with what you wrote and your oppinion on walters behavior
ReplyDeletei like the accent you did & i agree with what you wrote! tha last sentence is very strict and bold and it shows like what he did was WRONG!
ReplyDeleteI honestly think that money belonged to Beneatha. When she became a doctor she would have gotten money and could take care of her family. I really like your accent too!
ReplyDeleteThis is very well written, it's as if I can almost hear Beneatha talking these exact words. I like how you express her emotion for how she felt towards Walter.
