Dear Journal,
My brother is a back stabber and he only cares about himself. Mama gave Walter 650 dollars to put into the bank to go towards me becoming a doctor but NO! He takes the money and gave it to his buddies Willy and Bobo to go get their liquor license. But Bobo didn't go with Willy to make the trade and when he went to go meet Willy at the bus station the other day, Willy didn't show up. So Walter just blew all of our father's money, I can't go to medical school and Walter can't get that liquor store he always wanted. I am so mad at my brother right now!! Mama too she is beside her self. If anything Mama should have given me the money to put into the bank. Mama should have never trusted that boy! God knows I wouldn't have.
I really like how you said that Mama shouldn't of trusted Walter with the monay and should of just kept it with herself.You also did a good job describing what happened with Willie and Bobo.

I thought that it was very intresting how you mentioned that Mama should have trusted the $6500 dollars to Beneatha instead of Walter.I also agree that Walter blew his father's money, but he did not such thing would happen.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you talk in this. I can seriously picture Beneatha talkin with her accent and stuff. I can't believe that Walter would do such a thing right?? Beneatha could have gotten so much money and they could actually lived a decent lives after she became a doctor and could support them
