Beneatha
When the check arrived i wanted that money to pay for college i really wanted to be a doctor but mama used that money to buy a nice new house for all of us to live in. Mama did not spend all the money on the house she gave the rest to my brother and he just threw it away i could have used some of that to pay for college. I'm not that mad though i feel bad for him he mad a huge mistake and mama is really unhappy with him.

I like how you really used the importance of the money to the family in your post, and that they really depended on the money that they had, before it was gone.
