Hot Topic: Mosque at 9/11 Ground zero
I personally believe that no religious buildings of any kind should be built at ground zero. Everyone all around the world has heard of September 11. This is a special day that people bow their heads and they remember those who where lost. Some people lost their homes, families, jobs etc. This wasn't a little event that took place. If they are going to be building anything they should be building a memorial building remembering all those who had lost their lives because of this incident. If I knew the government decided to build a mosque or any religious building at the place i lost my loved ones I would not be to happy. I think the government should respect those that still cry and remember that horrible day. 2,976 people were lost that day and I think it is about time people start paying their respect to those who were left with nothing.

I agree with your opinion. Even trying to consider putting any religious thing for that matter in the place of something that should really be a type of memorial just isn't respectful sounding to me.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your opinion. Building any kind of religious temple will make it worse because their could have been people on the plane that follow many religions. If they do put a mosque the muslims would just try to bomb it again so that they could get more attention and money. 9/11 changed soo many people and america. If 9/11 didn't happen we wouldn't have such good security. In a way, 9/11 helped america get safer and better security. I think they should build a memorial center or a museum about all the people that died in the plane crash or twin towers.
ReplyDeleteI really agree with your opinion about building on the ground zero site. I think that has nothing to do with discriminating about religion, it's just about honoring and remembering the people who lost their lives during the 9/11 attack on the World trade center. I also agree that if we build anything it should be a memorial.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your opinion, and that we shouldn't build a mosque but remember the people whose lives were taken away. I don't think that it's much about religion, but about respect.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. Building a mosque on such a place wouldn't really be reasonable because the people who have died there had a varied amount of religions.
