Personally, I feel that if someone wants to marry someone of the same sex it is their right to do so. It's really not any of our jobs to decide how other people live their lives. It's horribly intrusive on our part and I think that we, as a society make it very hard for gay people to live their already difficult lives. So I think the best thing for us to do would be to back off and let them decide what they want, and who they want to marry.

I've been wondering exactly the same thing. Why do so many people care what gender someone marries to? It doesn't affect the rest of us in any way so why should it matter?
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. It is none of our business how other people chose to live their lives. Even though people where talking about how it written in the bible that it goes against your religion to be gay. However, in gods eyes we are all created equal no matter who we decide to marry. It also says in the bible that God loves everyone. I think those "true Christians" that go around telling people if you don't follow the bible you will go to hell, they are the ones not being the true christians. God taught us to love all. Therefor, If a guy falls in love with another guy then who are we to judge them.
ReplyDeletei agree with your opinion, and I feel that yes, we should just let them be, and the fact that this is getting dragged out is making it harder for everyone to just accept it and live their lives. I kind of think that since the proposition passed, that like what one person said today, they don't exactly need to get married to show their love, but i agree. its their lives, not ours.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. Gay people already have such a hard time telling people that they are gay, they don't need another problem in their lives. We should let them live their lives the way they want. Its not fair that straight people get to spend the rest of their lives with their loved ones but gay people don't, its just not right.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Nobody should care how they live there life just let them live. Theres so much pressure on having to admit that you are gay cause there afraid of judgement so why add another thing on there shoulders? Its cruel and people just need to get out of other peoples buisness!
