Prop 8
Turning down Prop 8 was one of the best decisions that California has made. It makes it seem like our views on the is whats inside, not how they talk or dress. We dont need to mettle with whatever sexuality they are. And why are parents kicking their kids out of the house just because they feel attracted to the same sex? They cant help choosing who they love. They were born that way and its a hard enough lifestyle as it is. Saying NO to Prop 8 has made us very mature about the acceptance of gays. I know that some people argue that "marriage" is legally defined as a man and a woman professing their love in the strongest way and that only a man and a woman should be married. But marriage is about love and dont you think that if two people are truly in love, they should be able to profess their love as strongly as they can to each other? They should have a chance. I suppose its just the new generation that is more accepting about people showing themselves, being themselves, but I think everyone should learn to love and accept gay people. Praise them even, for being able to be themselves even if being yourseld means you have just chosen the hardest life you could ever have.

I agree it was proven that a big part of being gay is a hormonal dis-balance when they were born, it is not their fault and people shouldn't treat it as so.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. People should be able to live they life they want to live.
