Prop 8
In the constitution it says that everyone should be treated equally. It also says that everyone has the right to the pursuit of happiness. So saying that I think it's ridiculous why this is still an issue. The government was once built on religion, but with so many people in this country there are many many religions. Why should we follow just one? This shouldn't be a religious issue but an equality issue.

But our country is also based on people's votes we voted twice for this issue and it won both times. The majority of California wants it to pass and so I don't know why people are still fighting. Because right now it's like the people's opinion doens't matter, which is unconstitutional.
ReplyDeleteI agree, people really need to come up with a better excuse than "god doesn't want it that way"
ReplyDeleteI agree 100% with Sabrina, America is based on votes from citizens, and thats what makes it great.
