Jim Crow Laws
When I read the article, my first thought was : What the heck! How could people be so murderous, paranoid, vile, abominable, and downright stupid!? I found it hard to belive that even Christian preachers and religious leaders even said that their god says that Blacks were to be cursed to serve white people for all of their lives. All I can say about that is that during those years, it had to be hell on earth for blacks

I agree with you, I can't even begin to imagine what it would have been like to live back then...if your black you live in constant fear of being killed, if you are white and you speak out against the murder then you are killed too...its a very scary thought.
ReplyDeletethe things that were said, and written about were so wrong, i cant even believe what anyone was even thinking by making these things laws.
ReplyDeletei agree with you, i cant believe what black people had to go through and how could a minister could say god agrees with racial discrimination. how could people follow these stupid laws?
ReplyDeleteI agree, the laws were horrible and living like that would also have had to be horrible.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Big Jack, I just can't believe how much black people went through, and comparing hell to those times actually seems consistent. I can't believe preachers, and minister could actually say all those false accusations. These laws shouldn't have never been created.
