jim crow laws
when I read this article, i was in shock. i couldnt belive that the laws could have been so bad, having to eat in different resturaunts, different bathrooms, they couldnt even be in the same hospital. These laws were terrible to blacks, the fact that blacks didn't have equal rights as the whites did is sick. everyone should have equal rights and act nicely towards one another, not having to eat and go to the bathroom else where. It also makes me think that if these laws were never made, how would it effect us today? would everyone get along better? or cause more hazzards?

I agree with you Dan. We probably would've so much better off if the government and the state legislatures hadn't come up with these insane "laws". Everyone probably would've gotten along better starting from the end of the Civil War.
ReplyDeleteI think that the world would certainly be a different place without these laws, better or worse i dont know
ReplyDeletehow could the government be so cought up in hatred to make these laws? i belive blacks were the very first people to inhabit earth in the first place. Africa?
