Jim Crow

When I began to read this article I was shocked but as I continued to read on I got really mad. I think it is RIDICULOUS that people back then had to have these laws against black citizens. There should have never been such thing to segregate the Whites from the black. I think if they didn't like one another they should at least be smart enough to just leave them alone. If a White male has a problem with a black male then they would just go their own ways instead of acting like little kids crying to their mom's when someone said something mean. All these black people were trying to do is get through the day just like any other white person. But they had to go and make their lives horrible. I do agree there should be laws but not against one type or race, or gender or religion. Laws are made to make people civilized and have freedom but also to keep people safe. Not to hurt one another. I think the whole thing is stupid. The whole upper class are better then the lower class (in this case whites and blacks) class, race, religion does not make you who you are. What makes us who we are is what's inside and if your a good person. But to make laws against someone because they are not the same color as you, you don't like them, or they aren't your best friend is just plane immature. That's what i think this whole thing is. It's immature.
